Communication and Counselling Skills

Delivered as one workshop or a series of workshops, these sessions are geared towards all healthcare providers who work in abortion care.
This workshop equips participants with the knowledge, skills and confidence to provide respectful abortion care and use non-stigmatising, inclusive language, as well as helping staff develop basic counselling skills in order to better support patients.
It also gives staff the opportunity to discuss the rewards and challenges of their work and to work together to improve their experience of providing abortion care.
