Join our team
Volunteers are at the heart of Abortion Talk. Our free, confidential Talkline simply couldn't exist without them! Our team of around fifty incredible people offer a safe, confidential space for people to share their experiences, ask questions, or find information about abortion care and related support services.
To make sure our team is highly skilled and well supported, we recruit new volunteers once a year, usually in the autumn. Training takes place over three Saturdays each January. Once trained, we ask for a commitment from our volunteers of one or two three-hour shifts per month. These take place Monday - Thursday 7-10 pm when the Talkline is open.

Our destigmatising work is only made possible through kind donations from people like you. Our work covers our Talkline for those who want to talk about their abortion experiences, workshops to affirm the incredible work of abortion providers, and research into the impacts of abortion stigma.
